My Chair

Daily Dose #28

My chair… it held me up, as of course, all chairs do.

Yet, mine never complained. Never groaned and creaked under my weight.

Always, it was forever just there.

Waiting…

“For what?” I wondered aloud one day.

You…

Resting my head on its soft cushion, I smiled and snuggled in while it wrapped me in its cozy embrace.

Happy Rest Day All!

Yes! I might could write a book about my bed. I’m still on the road, and long for home – for both my chair and my bed. Also, my family, my coffee mug, my kitchen, and the chipmunk that visits me every morning in the courtyard. Oh my gosh – the list is exhaustive… I hope you have a super rest filled day today Fragglerocking! (No work tomorrow right? – WooHoo!)

Nothing like letting you stop thinking about time, lower your eyelashes and let yourself be carried away by a good rest. A good Sunday for you and your good wishes in an excellent poem.

I love this poem, especially the warm, cozy feeling at the end.

That’s why I work for my fitness & weight to make it easy for chair.
Happy chair, happy you 😉
