Less is More (More or Less)

Daily Dose #81

In a world of More! More! MORE! Why not settle for less?
(Who knows– you might even end up with a whole lot more!)

Less discontent,

More heartfelt gratitude for what already is.

Less attachment to fleeting possessions,

More detachment and allowing Life to be.

Less expectations and obligations,

More time for the important things like self care, family and friends.

Less wanting,

More giving.

Less hate, fear & insecurity,

More Love, Love, Love!

Of course it could go the other way

Less heartfelt gratitude for what already is,

More discontent.

And so forth.

You get the idea…

It really is up to you

Either way, less is definitely more!

Isn’t it funny how we always want more. We earn more money, then we want even more money. We buy an expensive item, then we want more expensive items. We gain popularity, and then we want even more popularity. We are never content in where we are or what we have.
We need to remember that a lot of the things we want more of, we cant take with us when we pass away. We wont be remembered for the things we had, or the savings in our bank account. But rather we will be remembered for who we are as people, our hearts.

Olivia, what you said here is so true. It is an endless void that can never be filled. At some point we just have to choose our inner state.
I’m just so thankful I was able to chase it all, get it, realize it only made me feel worse and then search for the Truth. Truth is… it’s an inside job!
    Many blessings Olivia ❤️ 🤗

True, the more we desire the more we desire to desire for more.

We then disconnect with the present moment living always anticipating the future thinking that we will be happier then missing the whole point that life is what happens when we are busy making future plans.

Just curious to ask😄

True, it can be spinned both ways. And then you have some mores that lead to bigger mores. For instance, more complaints is accompanied by more discontent, followed by more heartburn.

Really awesome, Beck.
By the way how are you?

Less hate. This particular one could solve a whole lot of problems worldwide. If we’d all just try at least, to hate less, loving one another will be so much easier.
Thanks for sharing, Beck💚

Reducing exposure to mainstream media and commercial messages can work wonders in this regard.
