Your Majesty

Daily Dose #31

She walked across the field

taking in the warmth of the sun.

Thank you

She said, knowing it shined for her.

He waded through the creek

drinking from its cool depths.

Thank you

He offered, knowing it flowed for him.

We’ve talked of trees and the excitement they feel when a loved one passes by… you remember.

They two seemed so simple. Ordinary even, and yet, how the trees waved and shook. The trees – they being the most difficult to fool – know when royalty is in their midst.

Thank you

The two said, knowing full well the trees lived and breathed for them.

A chorus of birds chirped,

Bees buzzed,

Cows lowed.

Butterflies fluttered about, winds blew, and if all had been silent for just a brief moment, you would even have heard the low vibrational murmur of the rocks.

It was really quite the fuss… but all so very natural that no one took notice.

That’s how most Royals want it when they just need a break.

I know that you know…

Your Majesty!

(And you thought you were disguised so well.)

I love the whimsy in this post and have often felt like it was true. Animism or the ancients of many culture’s belief that Nature is there to worship is alive in this.
