Daily Dose #93

Hey Beck!

You forgot, didn’t you? You know… ask and you shall receive.

“Oh no, you don’t understand. I did ask!”

But still, you forgot.

You forgot how much time it takes to rearrange everything. After all, there is quite a bit of move-that-there-and-move-this-here that has to happen to accommodate your wishes. You do realize there are billions of you sharing space. To be honest, it takes some doing.

But you forgot that, got impatient, gave up and decided to ask for something else.

And I was like: What? I just got the wheels turning!

Geez… I mean, I had to bring the machine to a grinding halt, reverse everything and head in a different direction. Which is a shame for sure because that Machine was just about to take off. You would have been blown away by what was coming!

I gotta tell you ask and receive really does work. It just doesn’t work so well when you get all impatient and keep changing your mind.

P.S. Over time if you do keep changing your mind I just end up doing nothing.

I’m like: “Nope, not yet. This one is confused and unsure. It’s too hard to turn this ship around so I’m just going to let it sit here in idle for a bit. At least until she figures out what it is she really wants.”

Ask… and wait patiently for it is sure to come.
