Meditate

I don’t think I need to tell you the vast benefits of meditation – I’m sure you’ve heard them all before.

Except maybe I will highlight the one about it calming your entire nervous system.

Meditation isn’t about sitting, pretzel shaped (how is that even a thing?) for hours on end. It’s more about bringing awareness to your breath. Eckhart Tolle put it as simply as taking one conscious breath.

Here you try…

Breathe in.

Breath out.

There you did it! (you, Zen Master, you)

Oh and by the way the way, you can do this anytime you want.

While stuck in traffic.

Or during a six hour conference call.

You can even slide one of these bad boys in during dish duty (does that particular job ever get done?)

But especially meditate when you walk into your once spotless house and realize your kids decided to exist.

Deep Breath.

Oh well… looks like I’ll be meditating aaaaall day looooong.
